Giving thanks for the December rains.\u00a0The ground is finally showing\u00a0a thin layer of green after so many months of the brown look of the California drought.<\/p>\n

I’m posting these pictures of the snow we got here two years ago (none since),\u00a0with hopes that it will help\u00a0bring a healthy snowpack to the Sierras this winter.\u00a0Without that, all the rain we might get will not alleviate the drought.<\/p>\n

Some of the animals had never seen snow before and it was pure pleasure watching them explore the strange substance.<\/p>\n
