{"id":68,"date":"2012-02-13T10:49:24","date_gmt":"2012-02-13T18:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stephaniemarohn.com\/blog\/?p=68"},"modified":"2012-06-14T12:16:21","modified_gmt":"2012-06-14T19:16:21","slug":"youtube-messengers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stephaniemarohn.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/13\/youtube-messengers\/","title":{"rendered":"YouTube Messengers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My publisher asked me to shoot some video of me with the animals, and Saturday was the day. \u00a0That morning, I told all the animals over breakfast in the barn that the video was to help publicize our book (<em><a title=\"What the Animals Taught Me\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stephaniemarohn.com\/books_animals.html\" target=\"_blank\">What the Animals Taught Me<\/a><\/em>) and help us get our permanent sanctuary. I asked whoever wanted to be in the video to show up around 1 pm. That afternoon, just as my wonderful bird-expert nephew-in-law was setting up the camera, the three donkeys came up the hill. Truffles showed up soon after\u2014by himself, which had never happened before. The four sheep travel together. The others were nowhere in sight. If you watch the YouTube (link below), you will see that I call Pegasus, but she doesn&#8217;t come. Pegasus and the three sheep took me at my word\u2014they didn&#8217;t have to be filmed if they didn&#8217;t want to be. The three sheep&#8217;s timing emphasized their choice; they materialized out of nowhere as soon as we stopped filming. I am continually amazed by the animals&#8217; telepathic abilities.
